This spring new Music Director Michael Francis will lead The Florida Orchestra will present its first-ever “Sing Out! Tampa Bay” concert Tuesday, April 26, 7 to 9 p.m., at the Mahaffey Theater, 400 First St. S., St. Petersburg. Admission is “pay what you can.”
Led by Michael Francis, TFO’s new music director, the concert is a sing-along event that features a community chorus performing onstage with the orchestra for one night only.
“The beauty of a singing event is that everybody can participate,” said Francis in a press release. “It is the most natural form of musical communication. Just imagine the power of bringing together so many people as one community, with one voice.”
